Privacy policy
1. Data controller
- Controller: Angelo Cavallini
- Tax ID (NIF): Z5526290Q
- Address: Barcelona (for notification purposes)
- Email: hola@aguaindex.com
2. What data we process and why
This website only collects the data that users voluntarily provide through two forms:
- Address check: the postal address checked and email address. Purpose: to send an indicative Water Score for that address by email.
- Early access reservation: name, email address, company or firm (optional), approximate number of addresses managed and plan of interest. Purpose: to notify the user when access opens and to keep the reserved launch price.
In both cases, the email address will also be used to reply to any enquiries the user sends us. The data are not used for third-party advertising and no profiling is carried out.
3. Legal basis
Processing is based on the user's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the acceptance box and submitting the form, and, in the case of the reservation, on taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Consent may be withdrawn at any time by writing to hola@aguaindex.com, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
4. Retention
Address check data are kept until the reply is sent and for a maximum of twelve months afterwards. Reservation data are kept until access opens or until the user withdraws consent and, in any case, for a maximum of twenty-four months from the reservation. Once these periods have elapsed, the data are deleted.
5. Recipients and processors
No data are disclosed to third parties. To provide the service we use the following providers, which act as processors under Art. 28 GDPR:
- Web3Forms (form submission handling and email notification).
- Render (website hosting).
- OVHcloud (receiving and replying to emails).
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, they do so under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or another mechanism provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR.
6. Rights
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to hola@aguaindex.com and stating the right they wish to exercise. If they consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, they may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies or tracking technologies. To understand how the website is used we use a cookie-free analytics tool (Umami) that does not identify users, does not store full IP addresses and does not allow them to be tracked across websites. For this reason no cookie notice is shown.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied to protect the data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and restricted access to the emails received.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its date.
